Franklin Classical School presents
Les Miserables School Edition

Event Image - Les Miserable - FCS r.2

The Franklin Classical School Players are thrilled to present this true classic based on Victor Hugo's novel. With music by ALAIN BOUBLIL and CLAUDE-MICHEL SCHOENBERG, Les Miserables' appeal is as prolific today as when it premiered in London in 1985. With popular songs including "On my Own," "Do You Hear the People Sing?" and so many more, Les Miserables has moved audiences in 52 countries and in 22 languages through its narrative of grace and mercy.

Les Miserables Student Edition is specially adapted and licensed by Music Theatre International and Cameron Mackintoch (Oversees) Limited. The FCS Players are striving to present the material in a way that shows sensitivity to young audience members, but please be mindful that the themes remain mature.

Drama People presents
Comedy of Errors

Comedy of Errors Ticketor

Drama People presents Shakespeare's "Comedy of Errors," a hilarious story of mistaken identity and happy reunions. You will never believe this zany story full of hijinx and befuddlement. Antipholus and his servant, Dromio are going about their business as usual, but what they don't know is that their long lost twin brothers, seperated in a wreck at sea when they were just toddlers, have spent the last seven years looking for them...and have finally arrived in the same town, unbeknownst to them.

Drama People is the high school theater program of the Shanan Homeschool Co-op in Franklin. Our program is teacher-directed and student-run, focusing on excellence, experience, and enjoyment. We seek to inspire hope and good cheer through redemptive theater.

Raymond Cruz valiantly fought a battle with Stage 4 Ewing-like Sarcoma from 2017-2019. Throughout his battle, he was given the opportunity to share his message of hope with people through his music, from the hallways of Vanderbilt Children's Hospital to the stage of the Ryman. Ray and his mother, Blandina, started the Shine Your Light Youth Vocal Competition in 2019 to raise funds for the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital where Ray received his treatments.

Ray's family and friends will continue the competition in Ray's name and with his spirit guiding him.
